What is this day and why is it so important?
 

The "World Backup Day" was established in 2011 by the IT expert "Ismail Jadun" in cooperation with other colleagues. Through this IT Promo-day, more public awareness for effective data backup as well as recovery processes has been raised, especially in recent years. Simply, it is all about "copy-paste" in case of data loss.

Today, as cyber risks continue to rise due to increasing remote working, it is imperative for businesses as well as individuals to store all data securely and perform regular backups.

According to statistics, 30% of all people have never performed a backup and only one in four people perform regular backups. For example, the daily status reports of the backups indicate whether everything has been completed successfully or not.
