SwissSecurium™ is a modern, secure messenger with a function of audio and video calls. You can create multi-user chats in our messenger and transfer files through a safe cloud CloudSecurium™. You can also connect several of your SwissSecurium™ accounts to one application at a time. And you can invite external users through the app to take part in a secure chat.

SWISS SECURIUM® was originally designed as a platform for secure data exchange, so the interaction between all its services and applications passes over secure SSL/TLS protocols.

All data and user application files are stored in an encrypted form, both on users' devices and on servers. Decryption of the data is impossible without the participation of the user who owns the keys.

SwissSecurium™ also uses the OTR protocol the interlocutor verification and establishing end-to-end encryption of conversation. Voice and video calls are protected by WebRTC technology.

Yes, you can. You don’t need SIM card to use SwissSecurium™, but you must have an account in the corporate instance.

No, this is impossible, since all information on the servers is encrypted. It cannot be decrypted without the user's key.

SwissSecurium™ for Android requires version 4.1 and later.

SwissSecurium™ for iOS requires version 9.0 and later.

Yes, you can. You can use application on smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops, and also in a browsers.

To sign in for the first time after installation:

1. Enter product ID assigned to your company.

2. Enter your Username.

3. Enter your Password.

4. Turn option button to <Remember me> mode to save your login and password on this device.

5. Tap <Sign in> to enter SwissSecurium™.

Do not forget to create a Security Code or enable a Touch ID option to ensure better application security on your device.

Yes, SwissSecurium™ gives you an opportunity to add accounts and switch between them.

To add account:

1. Tap on the menu icon at the upper left part of the screen.

2. Tap <Add account> to open the Authorization menu.

3. Enter product ID assigned to your company.

4. Enter your Username.

5. Enter your Password.

6. Turn option button to <Remember me> mode to save your login and password on this device.

7. Tap <Sign in>.

To delete an account from app:

1. Tap on the menu icon   at the upper left part of the screen.

2. Tap <Manage accounts>.

3. Tap and hold the account you want to delete until the menu appears.

4. Tap <Delete>.

To switch user:

1. Tap on the menu icon at the upper left part of the screen.

2. Tap on the combo box icon to open account list.

3. Tap on the account you want to switch to.

You also can switch accounts by tapping account icon in the top of the menu.

1. Tap on the menu icon  at upper left part of the screen.

2. Tap <Logout>.

3. After that you will see the menu with two options: <Cancel> and <Log out>. Tap <Cancel> if you want to stay logged in SwissSecurium™ or tap <Log out> if you want to leave.

Yes, you can change password in personal cabinet/Controlium.

No, you can’t. There is one password for all SWISS SECURIUM® services, but mobile applications can be protected with an additional Security Code that you can set separately for each application or Touch ID / Face ID (if it's supported by your device), and for web applications you can use one-time passwords generated by the AccessSecurium™ app.

If you forgot your password, please contact your administrator to create a new password for your account.

Passwords must be resistant to hacking, so we suggest you to use PassSecurium™ app to generate the strongest passwords. 

To set new Security Code:

1. Tap on the menu icon  and choose <Change Security Code>.

2. Enter Security Code.

3. Confirm Security Code.

4. Enter a hint for the Security Code.

5. Save it.

You can clear application data in the phone settings and then set a new Security Code on the first app visit, but after that you will have to go through full authorization: enter your product ID, your username and password for the platform. You can also contact your administrator for help.

No, you can’t. Username for SwissSecurium™ is fixed.

If you lose your phone, please change password in Controlium and contact your administrator. Do not forget to also use the Security Code or Touch ID for your SWISS SECURIUM® applications so that no one else could open them.

SwissSecurium™ currently supports 3 languages: English, German and Russian. The language changes when the system language of your device changes. If the device language does not match one of the three supported languages, English will be used by default.

You can message users from your contact list.

Only your administrator has rights to add new internal platform users, which then can be displayed in your contacts.

But you can add an external user.

Active status (green dot in the lower right corner of the contact icon) means that SwissSecurium™ window is open at recipient’s device at the moment.

To view contacts tap <Contacts> tab. 

 To do this, follow these steps:

1. Go to the <Contacts> tab to see the list of contacts.
2. Tap and hold the name of the contact you want to add to Favorites, until the menu appears.
3. Select <Add to Favorites>.
Similarly, you can delete a contact from the Favorites.

To search for contact tap on the magnifier icon and type contact login in the search field.

Yes, you can. To do this, select <Invite User> from the menu, enter the email of the person you want to invite, and an invitation link will be sent to this address.

The invited user can chat with the person who invited him/her (this can be several users of SWISS SECURIUM® platform), participate in multi-user chats if he/she is added to them, make calls and receive them from the users who are available to him/her. The validity of such invitation is 24 hours.

You can invite external users until you reach the maximum number of users of your corporate SWISS SECURIUM® instance. The number of already created users and the maximum amount of the platform users you can request from your platform administrator.

To send message:

1. Tap on a contact you want to send message to open the dialog window.

2. Tap on the <Type a message> field in the dialog window to open the keyboard.

3. Now write your message using the keyboard.

4. Tap on the arrow icon to send a message

Yes, you can. SwissSecurium™ offers one more opportunity to make conversation secure. Use OTR (of the record secure) protocol to be 100% sure who you are messaging to.

1. Tap on the lock icon in the dialog menu.

2. Enter a hint or a question in the dialog menu.

3. Enter your password or answer.

4. Tap <Verify>.

5. Wait for your partner enters password or answer.

* This feature is available only when your partner is active.

To create a chat:

1. Tap on any contact you want to add to the chat.

2. Tap on the plus icon  in dialog window to open the contact list.

3. Tick other chat participants.

4. Tap on the tick icon  to add contacts to the chat or the cross icon  if you want to cancel.

To add users to chat:

1. Tap on the menu icon in chat window to open contact list.

2. Tap <Add participants>.

3. Tick participants you want to add.

4. Tap on the tick icon  to add ticked contacts to the chat or tap the cross icon  if you want to cancel.

You can add up to 200 users to a chat.

To delete users from chat:

1. Tap on the menu icon  in the chat window to open the contact list.

2. Choose <Participants> from the menu.

3. Tap on the red cross icon near the chat participant you want to delete.

4. Tap on the tick or the cross icon to go back to the chat.

You can’t leave a chat before the user who added you to that chat delete you from the chat.

Yes, you can. To share file, which is uploaded to CloudSecurium™:

1. Tap on the clip icon .

2. Choose <Share existing file> to send file which is uploaded to your CloudSecurium™.

3. Find file you need in your CloudSecurium™ and tap on it.

Yes, you can. To share file, which isn’t uploaded to CloudSecurium™:

1. Tap on the clip icon .

2. Choose <Upload and share> to send file which isn’t uploaded to your CloudSecurium™.

3. Find the file you need to send on your device and tap on it.

4. This file is uploaded to your CloudSecurium™ now and sent in SwissSecurium™.

To delete/edit message:

1. Tap on the message you want to delete and hold until the menu appears.

2. Tap <Delete>/<Edit>.

To copy/quote the message text:

1. Tap on the message you want to copy/quote and hold it until the menu appears.

2. Tap <Copy text>/<Quote message>.

To view dialog tap on a contact you want to view dialog with. 

Tap on <History> tab in the window on the left to view history.

Yes, you can. To clear history:

1. Tap on a contact in history tab which history you want to clear and hold until the menu appears.

2. Choose <Delete> in the menu.

To make call:

1. Tap on a contact you want to call.

2. Tap on the phone icon in the dialog window to call.

3. Tap on the red phone icon to end a call.

Tap on the green phone icon to receive a call.

During a call you can use next options:

Turn back to dialog during a call:

Tap the left arrow icon or the messages icon to turn to dialog during a voice call.

Turn back to call from chat:

Tap the left arrow icon to turn back to voice call from dialog.

Turn microphone off/on:

Tap the microphone icon to turn microphone off. The microphone icon must turn red .

Loudspeaker mode on/off:

Tap the dynamic icon to turn loudspeaker mode on during the voice call.

Video call off/on:

Tap the camera icon to turn video on during the voice call.

Some options, such as adding of participants to a call or a call transfer to other devise will be realized soon.

Yes. To do this, you must enable the <Anonymous call> option in the <Settings> menu.

Yes. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Tap on the menu icon and enter the <Settings> menu.

2. Select <Chat background>.

3. Select a picture on your device and adjust its position as a background.

4. Tap <Done>.

To change auto lock interval:

1. Tap on the menu icon on the screen.

2. Tap <Auto lock interval>.

3. Choose one of the options in the menu.

4. Tap <Close>.

To lock SwissSecurium™ on your device tap on the lock icon. After that you will need to enter the Security Code to re-enter the application

Yes, you can change sounds or turn them off by going to Menu section <Settings>. Tap the play icon to hear your current melody, or tap the name of the melody to go to the list of melodies, where you can also select <No> to turn it off.

Similarly, you can change or turn off the sound of notifications.

To enable/disable vibration, tick or untick the <Vibration> option.
